          Different scholarships like National Scholarship, Junior College merit Scholarship, Senior college merit scholarship, Hindi Scholarship, National loan scholarship and post matric scholarships (only to SC/ST students) are available to students as per rule.









Admission Information

Last date of submission of application forms for admission into 1st Yr. Classes.-          Within 15 days fom the date of publication of result of qualifying examination or reopening of the college which eve is later.

Last date of submission of application forms fo admission into 2nd Yr. And 3d Yr. Classes on transfer from other college.- Reopening of college

Approximate admission charge for general students : Rs.250/-

Hostel admission charge : Rs.130/-

Weightage for admission

          Weightage is given over and above the aggegate marks without extra optional in the qualifying examination.

N.C.C. ‘A’ certificate-5%, ‘B’ certificate-10%, ‘C’ certificate-Nil, Scout President-10%, Governor -5%, N.S.S.Represented International level-7%, National Award-5%, Best volunteer at University level-3%.

The distinction should be achieved within 2 years time prior to the date of admission.

Career Corner

          One carrer corner is functioning in the college to increase the awarness of students for future carrer. It remains opened between 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. on every working days. It is provided with a very good library. It is financed by government of Orissa.










Vocational Wing

          A separate vocational stream, which is equivalent to +2, is functioning in the college. A separate building has been constructed for vocational wing. Two trades have been allotted to this vocational School.

College Examination

          A 1st Year Student is to appear two examinations (Half yearly and Annual). Promotion is subject to 75% attendance (or 60% with medical cerificate)

          For +2 IInd Year, +3 IInd Yr and +3 IIIrd Year Students, two examinations are conducted – Pre-test and test. A student is sent up for the Annual CHSE/University Examinations if she has 75% attendance (or 60% with medical certificate).








Transfer Certificate/College Leaving Certificate

          The student is to apply with clearance from all departments (if required) Library/ Hostel/Office etc. to the principal. T.C/C/L/C is issued on the next day.










Proctorial System

          Each student is attached to a proctor through whom she can solve her problems faced in the college.
