Grievance Redressal System of the Department.
Complaint books are
provided in all post offices. Besides, a grievance cell is functioning in the office of
the Superintendent of Post Offices, Keonjhar. Complaints relating to money order,
registration and savings banks etc.are settled. One Inspector (Public grievance) is there
for early settlement of complaints under the Supervision of Supt. of Post Offices and
Asst. Supt.(Head Quarters).

Prospectives
The Department took up
modernization and cumputerisation of the Postal system which inter-alia aimed at upgrading
operational equipment in post offices, providing a friendly ambience for the users,
improving and upgrading the quality of service, meeting the emerging need of the customers
and developing and providing new value added services and products such.
